We know, that stains sucks…

Who would like a stain on their favorite clothes?  Accidents happen, however, and that´s why our first aid is here. We have put together a short cheat list for you on how to remove the most common stains.

We´ll talk more about the safest ways to remove different types of stains later in our blog, so you don´t have to look around to deal with them.

Just remember a few rules:

  • Act quickly! The sooner you start treat the stain, the easier it will be to get rid of it.
  • Follow the instructions on your clothes. Try the stain remover on a hidden spot.
  • Remove excess stain material from the stain and then treat it. Use a spatula, a knife… Then start treating the stain.
  • Blot! Do not scrub. You will just push the material more into the fabric. Use a paper towel, clean cloth or brush and work from the outside of the stain to the center.
  • Use cold water as a first aid to pre-treat your clothes. Sometimes you cannot immediately treat and wash the stain. So use cold water to remove as much material from your clothes, as possible. Hot water will usually set the stain into the fabric. Therefore always pre-treat the stain with cold water, even if you use a stain remover.
  • Remove the stain from the wrong side. This will push the staining material out of the fabric.

We hope that our advice will make your fight with stains easier.
